I am Back!

That took a little longer than expected, but here we go:

3/1/12 Keith Thomas Arrived 8lb 10 oz & 22 Inches long.

And the dragon was completed as well!

There are now plans in the works for 3 more dragons, a blue, black & green. All are using beads and YarnPlayer's  amazing HDT's!!

We now interrupt this blog to bring you...

A BABY!

I will be on  what I hope to be a brief Hiatus from posting. I do have a few projects in mind for while I am in the Hospital recovering from a C-Section this Thursday.  I should Have the dragon Completed tomorrow. That will just all depend on what I get busy doing to prepare for when I get back home Saturday or Sunday with little Keith/ Emily. :)

Altoona is Moving up in the Crafting world

OMG!!! We went to Altoona today to get things for finishing the Kitchen renovation. And Altoona is yes, a very well stocked Crafting town, we have the usual Joanne Fabrics, AC Moore, Michael's.....NOW they Have a HOBBY LOBBY!!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Hobby Lobby Carries Lizbeth thread!, they in fact have an entire display of tatting thread, tools, & books...Its Like a mini Handy Hands!

I was in despair because I wanted to start a project for a dear friend & Needed a ball of black Lizbeth...while Ordering from Handy Hands is always a pleasure I was wishing for a distributor close to home And Now I have one WHOO HOOO!

In other crafty Bits I also Hit Michael's "Clearence Section" and came home with Beads....There will be a few new sets of Tool Fobs in the makings..Maybe I'll Finally Get my Etsy Store opened :)

HDT!

YAY my new HDT from Lady Shuttlemaker arrived today! Scrumptious silk sz 20 thread in an amazing colorway  "Copper Patina" I must find the perfect pattern to use this in..Maybe Black Magic by Mary Konoir as a book mark for my mom...Hmmmm.

In Dragon News: I blew the dust off my Adobe Illustrator CS5 program and have started re-diagramming the dragon wing so I can see where I think Brain Cell #3 (As Jane E calls it) Misfired when I tried this the first time...

The time has come the walrus said to talk of many things....

Of Threads and Shuttles and whether this dragon really needs wings....

No Progress on where I am screwing up on the dragon wings BUT..I did Complete the "Maria" cross from the book Tatted Bookmarks - Cross shaped by Lene Bjorn. It is on the Blocking pillow Pics up soon!
